i dont like having to come up with titles for these journal entries. im not even a good writer so theres no point in having an entry title.

i had a good weekend. saturday les and I went to a real mexican restaurant called el tejados. its across the street from a sonic in our neighborhood and wed seen it a few times when we were getting sonic to eat. we noticed that we never saw any white people coming out of there so we thought it must serve authentic mexican food. saturday came around and it was the typical “where do you wanna eat?” ” i dunno where do YOU wanna eat?” so we decided on mexican and we ended up there. it was pretty good. well i really liked it a lot. the service was good too. the waiter told us they serve traditional oaxacan (had to look that one up) cuisine. i cant rem what i had but it was very spicy and very good. one thing i noticed different was the refried beans were black beans and not the other kind of beans other tex mex restaurants serve.

sunday we went out to eat with leslies mom at a chinese buffet and it was good for a change. well i guess i better go.

i forgot about typing in here again. sometimes its hard to remember but its especially hard to remember when  YOUR GIRLFRIEND WONT GET OFF THE COMPUTER SO YOU CAN GET ON. not that it really matters at all because i dont need to get on the comp anyways. i just get on to write here or to check up on some game codes or something.

last night i helped les clean the kitchen. it wasnt very hard or bad she did a good job. tonight shes going to clean the bathroom but that wont be hard either. i would help her clean a lot more but when i do she tells me im not doing it right. im not good at cleaning but im good at picking up. i only help now when she asks me too bcuz otherwise she will yell or tell me its not right so she has to give me specific orders and im happy with that.

yesterday les and i went shopping all day. we got up around 10oclock in the morning and checked out a few thrift stores lookin for an entertainment center for our living room. we didnt find one at any thrift store but we  ended up finding one at big lots furniture for more than what i wanted her to spend but hey its her money anyway.
we also found this cool store called essex thats got a lot of stuff like electronics, home furnishings, i dunno..just a lot of stuff. i still cant figure out what exactly the store was but she got me a skateboard. that was really nice of her. must feel bad for making rude jokes to me ha ha.

we also met up with her mom to eat some lunch. it was pretty good her mom is real nice and i like to hang out with her. shes not like normal adults and she is more understanding and supportive

well today i guess we are going to the mall so i better get ready or decide if im gonna stay here and sleep.

sometimes my girlfriend can be very rude to me.  but shes been in a bad mood all day.

tonight in the car we were both singing a song and she asked me who sung it. when i told her she said “lets keep it that way next time” and started to laugh at me. well i felt like she was laughing at me and makin fun of me even tho she said it was just a joke. sometimes she doesnt realize that the things she says hurts my feelings.  i guess it hurt because it was true. i know i cant sing but i was just having a good time and i know that she prolly was just joking and having fun because she told me i needed to learn how to take a joke but i guess it was one of those jokes that was hurtful because it was true. i dont really know.  its all over now anyway the argument is over but i just thought id write about it because she encourages me to write everyday.

so today i didnt do much. i worked for her on downtown and opryland and then we went together to brentwood..on the way back from brentwood is when the argument happened.

i been forgetting to post. well im home now and leslie started back in on me to post.

lets see..
i got home one week ago today. so that means i got home last friday, probably around 3am or something like that. i slept for a few hours and then me and les decided we were gonna head on out to memphis at around 11am, we got there around 2pm. thats really good time. we didnt get to see beale street very much or anything cuz she was too tired by the time the matisyahu and 311 concert was over so we just went back to our hotel room. but we are going to go back to memphis in a couple weeks to visit the memphis zoo that will be so much fun. im excited about it.

on our way back from memphis we stopped in jaxon tennessee to visit some woodland period native american land mounds and that was probably my favourite part of the whole trip because that was  real chill, spiritual spot.

well thats about it.

im still in minnesota and ill be here till friday i think. yesterday i woke up at 6:00 o clock in the morning to start work on my grandmas deck well i ended up fixing her deck and her pool house too. me and my mom went walking on this trail kinda in the woods where there used to be this old train track but someone took the train track up and made it into a trail. early in the day my mom was supposed to be interviewing someone for a new book but they had to reschedule the appointment so they had to meet while we were walkin on the trail so while she interviewed him i just went walkin on my own. it was cool cuz i spotted this little moving creature and went i got close i realized it was a coyote…about three of them! they were just pups so i got as close as i could and i took pictures of them to take home to les. everytime i took the picture and the flash went off they just shook their heads back and forth because of the flash in their eyes.

today me and my mom drove about 3 hours out into the country to look at some farm land that has been in the family since my ancestors came to this country. another 6 hours on the road just after i already rode 14 all the way up here.

tonight i played scrabble with my grandma.

normally when i come up here i dont go hang out with anyone. i come here to visit my grandmother and spend time with her before its time for her to pass on. what sense would it make for me to come all the way here just to go find some people to spend all my time with and ignore her? my grandma and i have always gotten along really well even more than my mom and me so i feel closer to my grandma.
i always spend all my time here with her cuz you never know, this might be the last time i see her.

my mom usually has all these lame activities planned for us to do like go to the dinner theater, go to the mall of america, go visit my aunt becky who is really my cousin but i call her my aunt. when we come here for xmas we go riding around to see xmas lights.

most of the time i find all these activities really boring and i dont always like to do them or want to do them but i always do them anyway out of respect for my mom and grandma.

les said shes gonna watch apocalypto tonight. im kinda jealous cuz i wanted to watch it with her but thats ok i can watch it when i get back

o yea i wanted to say that i got my first comment thanks to jules for that comment.

les taught me how to change the way my page looks and she already went to bed now im bored cuz i cant talk to her so now i will change the way my page looks.

ok so i got in a lot of trouble by my girlfriend leslie to write in this journal more often. i didnt update it since bonnaroo but thats ok cuz now im updating it.
every year my mom and me drive all the way up to minnesota at least twice a year to visit my grandmother. its a 14 hour drive mind you. my mom didnt get started until like 1pm on tuesday so i knew we were gonna be late. sure enuff at about 11pm my mom told me we were gonna get a hotel room. i was so stressed bcuz i didnt want to have to spend the night with my mom in a hotel room with her. i ended up skating all  night and talking to my gf on the phone

well im here in minnesota now and i watched some fireworks with grandma. tomorrow i got lots of chores to do here like fix my grandmas fence and fix her deck. its an old house lots of things are fallin apart.  well im goin to bed now

this weekend i went to bonnaroo. it was fun. my girlfriend stayed in the shade the whole time. she threw up everyday  because it was so hot. we are going again next year but we are going to take a tent.

i saw a lot of cool bands like gogal bordello and tool. sting looks homo.
