Spiro…what?

Spirometers. Yes, spirometers. Strange word, isnt it? I had definitely never heard of it until recently. As most of you know, my significant other has..lots of issues with his breathing. So, unfortunately, as a result of this..I have come to be very familiar with lots of medical equipment used for breathing purposes.

Basically, what a spirometer does…is measure the volume of air inhaled and exhaled by the lungs. A spirometer records the amount of air that is breathed in and out over a specific time period. Now, there are different types of spirometers also…such as the peak flow spirometer, and the incentive spirometer. They all have different, but similar uses.

If you are in need of a spirometer for any reason..you should check out medicaldevicedepot.net.They will surely have your needs completely covered.
