The Renn Fest.
Posted at 5:20am | Leave a commentThe Tennessee Renaissance Festival is held here every May. Actually, it goes on every weekend in May. I would have to say its probably one of my favorite things to do. I am not sure how long its been going on, but, I do know it was founded by one man who really has a huge affinity for the times of the Renaissance. He even has a castle. See, he owns all of the land that the Renn Fest is held on, so he has been building a custom castle on it for like 10 or so years now. You can tour the castle and everything and I must say…it is SO COOL! I would love to live in a castle. Hahahaa…who wouldnt though, right?
Anyway, every year I tell myself I am going to dress up. Well..next year is THE YEAR. I am looking at some renaissance costumes now to kind of start getting an idea what I want.
