I live in Nashville, we have a moderate Coyote population and steadily but surely I see these magnificent creatures reduced to vultures, prying through garbage bags to maintain sustainment on a constant near death fight for survival. Their habitats are ritually being torn apart to build condos, apartment homes and whatever other trivial luxuries man wants. The Coyote is forced to be prey. Prey to predators made up of steel, brick, wood, and me. It breaks my heart.

Everyone needs to remember, that yes, Charlie is a part of this world. He is a part of nature..he is “wild.” However, we, as humans, are also a part of this world. We are also a part of nature. We are also “wild.” Being a living creature gives us commonality. Charlie is doing the same thing that I am doing. He is living the life he has been given, to the best of his ability. Thankfully, he has someone who deeply loves, admires, idolizes and cares for him to help him along his way. We all share this world with one another and I think Charlie is doing a beautiful job teaching that.

I love make up! This is not a secret. There are millions of girls around the world who also love makeup. I would consider myself..pretty decent at being able to apply makeup and make it look good on me, but I wasnt always able to. It does take practice!

Well, I feel “right” again. I have a mala made of yak bone and a few nights ago I picked up that mala and I held it in my hands and I began to recite “Om Mani Padme Hum” while holding the first bead, then the second, then the third..all the way to 108. I havent felt so tranquil, so peaceful, and so full of light in a very long time and I realized that this is where I need to be. My mind doesnt need to stray far from God because far from God is where I am least happy. Near God is where I am completely illumined. I felt genuinely happy and at peace with everything in my life. I decided that I would not buy any more Rudraksha Mala’s until I felt that I was back into a secure spot, spiritually. Well, now I feel secure again. I have never turned my back on my faith or my God. But, sometimes God would not be on my mind, where God should constantly reside, along with inside my heart. Now, dont get me wrong. I never lived some pious, devout life. I have never been a monk, and I still am NOT a monk..hahaa. I dont believe that spirituality and God are reserved for the elite. However, in my own personal brand of spirituality, in my own faith, there have been times in recent years where I felt less than worthy because I was too caught up in other things and forgot my spiritual path.

A few years ago I had a beautiful Rudraksha Mala. I never wore it as a fashion item and only used it during mantra reciting. Well, there was a time when I strayed from my faith and I decided to start wearing it as a fashion item and within 15 minutes of me wearing it, I bent down to pick something up off of the floor and as I raised up the mala got caught on the arm of my computer chair, snapped and the beads went flying all over the room. When that happened, it literally felt like my heart was in every one of those beads and as they shattered everywhere, so did my heart. I just stood there for a minute, watching the beads roll around on the floor and I just sat down and started to cry.

My sleeping schedule has been  completely all over the place lately. I cant stand it. With the time change…it gets dark pretty early, and then starts getting light outside really early in the morning. So I would go to bed at like 4AM or 5AM when it would be light outside, and then I would wake up around 8PM or 9PM, when it was totally dark.  I was only getting, maybe, 30 minutes of daylight time and my “daylight time” consisted of me sitting in my bed looking at the light coming through my very black curtains. It was making me depressed or something, lol. Well, needless to say…NOW I have my sleep schedule somewhat under control. Other than the fact that I am gtoing to bed around like, 6PM and waking up at like 3AM. Lmao.

Its about 5:41PM now and I am SOOOOOO extremely tired. Its insane. My show comes on tonight though at 9PM and I HAVE to see it. I was already in bed last week and I missed it. I have my alarm set for 8:30pM AND mama is calling me to wake me up. I am all set. If I nap now, and get up around 8:30PM..then I will be getting tired again around 1AM or 2AM. Thats perfect. Thats the schedule I want to be on…
