Tomorrow is Thanksgiving.
Posted on November 22nd, 2007 @ 12:19 am

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. I am going over to my aunts house with my cousin and my mom. I think Soda will be going as well. He said he wanted to..but when it comes right down to that stuff he gets nervous and understandably so. Im going to be nervous, for what reason, I dont know. It just seems like I cant do anything without getting nervous and anxious about it lately. I absolutely hate it. It seems to coincide with the onset of my period. Which, to me, signifies that it may be a hormonal problem…I dont know, I just want it to go away. I want to be normal and able to go out and take part in everything that everyone else does without feeling like im going to go into cardiac arrest. Its a scary feeling, very scary. There arent enough words in the English Lexicon that would describe how much I want my anxiety to go away.

Oh yeah…
One of my headlights is out in my car..so..basically…we have to drive around everywhere with the brights on. Luckily today its raining outside so thats a perfect excuse for the lights to be on. But, when I get paid im gonna have to get my oil changed and get a new bulb or new fuse or whatevers going on with that light. We have to work tonight and..im scared to see how bad traffics gonna be hahaha.

The Gift Of Giving
Posted on November 21st, 2007 @ 8:29 am

The holiday season really seemed to creep up on us quicker than it ever has. Unfortunately, it seems like Holidays are becoming mechanical. People buy things for people because they feel obligated to and not because they WANT to..there is just a lack of sentiment. Ive even noticed that greeting cards have been lacking recently. Theres a huge lack of heart felt greeting cards out there, and I would love the perfect card for my mother on Christmas. Its something that means a lot to me. Cards are picked out personally and therefore say a lot about YOU and your feelings towards the person you are giving them to. Therefore, its important that the card is heartfelt and means A LOT.

I found a cool website called gallerycollection.com that has holiday greeting cards to meet EVERY style. They have an awesome assortment of Business Christmas Cards for everyone at your office.
But, probably the most awesome thing about gallerycollection.com is the fact that they are now affiliated with Soldiers Angels. Soldiers Angels provides comforting greeting cards to members of our Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force and the Coast Guard and their awesome families. Gallerycollection.com just donated greeting cards to be sent to each and every soldier to with them Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year. They even included a blank card so that the soldiers could write home. What an amazing thing to do. I am sure this meant the world to our soldiers and this really touches my heart and makes me extremely proud to be writing about gallerycollection.com. The cards they sent will be included with care packages sent by Soldiers Angels.

If you are looking for greeting cards to meet your every business need this holiday season, please take everything I have written here into consideration and visit gallerycollection.com.

Crazy stuff on the news…
Posted on November 21st, 2007 @ 8:17 am

Ive been watching the news all day and you know, I noticed that I have gotten into the habit of watching the news a lot. I dont necessarily even LIKE to watch the news but it is addicting. There is NEVER any good news on the news. I hope that doesnt mean that good things dont happen ahaha. But seriously, with the situation we are in right now…dont you think that some media outlets would make it a point to report good news? Just to make the people feel better..I think it is of utmost importance to try and keep people in a halfway decent mood and they need to report some of the GOOD going on the world. Give people some kind of hope. There has to be some beauty in this world, doesnt there? I hope so. Luckily, I know for a fact that the mass media is used as a way to control the masses and  I think that with all the constant negative news they are trying to desensitize people to pain and suffering. Sad as it is…it sounds very plausible.

A few months ago I got some super cool boots by the company “Magnum.” They are a company that supplies boots to the military and to police. So, that got me thinking about police gear and I decided to start checking out police gear. I am really into militant revolutionary type style. You know, tactical gear. So, I found 511tacticaloutdoors.com and they have TONS of really awesome police and tactical gear like galco holster, knives, pants…I mean pretty much anything. Christmas.
Posted on November 18th, 2007 @ 10:41 am

Surprisingly, I am getting more and more excited about Christmas. This is something I am not used to. I dont really remember being excited about Christmas, I mean REALLY excited, since I was a kid. My good Christmas’s outweigh the bad ones, however, the bad ones are just SO bad that underneath any feelings of joy, lied some very negative emotions, fear, hurt, anger..buried very deep. Well, this Christmas feels different. It feels good.

Soda and I have not been able to spend any Christmas’s together since we have been together. This is because every year he goes up North to Minnesota to visit his grandmother. This isnt something that bothers me too much because his grandmother has been the only constant in his life besides me. The only other person that he feels has really cared about him. Me and his grandmother. Shes getting older..well..shes getting way up there. I believe shes about 85 now and things arent going so well for her. Her mind is great but her body is dying on her and she refuses to believe it. So, with that said, I think it is extremely important that he goes up there and spends as much time with her as possible before fate decides to take her away from this physical reality we exist in now.

So I have spent Christmas alone for the past three years. Not technically alone. On Christmas Eve (generally, sometimes its on Christmas day) my cousin Kelley, and my mom usually have our Christmas and open the presents from one another and then we have Christmas dinner over at our aunt Karens house with our uncle Nelson and our cousin Tyler. But, its Christmas even night and Christmas night that I spend alone.

I have alway loved the “scents” of Christmas. You know, the fresh Pine scent. I always buy a ton of those candles and at least two bottles of the air freshener, haha. I love it. I also love Christmas trees and Christmas lights. Last year, I was living in a very small apartment and had NO room for a tree, so I just had this little teenie tiny mini tree that was pre decorated and about one foot tall, haha. It was good enough. This year, im going to get a three or four foot tree with lights and decorations and everything.

On Christmas Eve night I plan on lighting my pine candles, spraying some pine scent in the air, turning the house lights down and the Christmas Tree lights up, curling up on my couch with my special blanket and watching a movie and surfing the net, with all the presents under the tree…alone. Dont feel sorry for me because I just described a near perfect evening. The only thing missing is Soda, but as we all know, distance makes the heart grow fonder and even though I miss him dearly during Christmas..for the past three years it has been some time for me to sit back and reflect on life, and the way life has turned out. And, I have enjoyed it. However, I REALLY cant wait until he can join me on the couch with the pine scent in the air, the house lights turned down and the Christmas Tree lights turned up, us both curled underneath my special blanket, just watching a movie and enjoying each other with all of the presents under the tree.

Tonight Soda and I bought our first Christmas decoration as a couple. A small 99cent snow globe that, in my humble opinion, is irresistibly cute.  Sometime next week we will buy our first tree and our very first tree ornament as a couple. I know that to a lot of people this sounds really lame..but to me…..it sounds like home.

Bad News Google.
Posted on November 16th, 2007 @ 7:53 pm

So, not too long ago I noticed that my page rank on this page was down from a 3, to a 1. I didnt know why this had happened and I thought maybe it was something I had done, although I changed nothing. So…I go to visit one of my daily blogs that I always visit every day and she said that Google is knocking down the Google Page Ranks of the users of sites like PayPerPost, and Payu2blog and other paid blogging sites that ARENT Adsense. Looks like google cant take the heat. That really makes me angry so..I am boycotting google. Im uninstalling my google toolbar, and im not going to be using the google search engine anymore. Somethings gotta be done about this.

New Piercing.
Posted on November 15th, 2007 @ 7:12 pm

have made the decision to get my nipples pierced. Woohoo! I have always been into body modifications and I have had about 7 or 8 piercings, not including my ears (which I need to re pierce sometime soon by the way). Ive debated about this for a while because it would be really bad to have to deal with an infected nipple, but, I am just gonna..take care of it best I can and roll with the punches. If they get infected, ill take em out or try to clear the infection up ..sometimes a small infection is a part of a piercing. Im gonna get em both done at the same time. Well, one right after the other. And, per Sodas request..have a female piercer because “he doesnt want another guy touchin my boobs.” LoL.Anyway, Ill probably be getting it done sometime next week, after I get paid. Im pretty excited about it. Just the prospect of having another piercing..excites me!
