I have always wanted to travel. My only main goal in life is to travel around the world and experience people, experience things, experience cultures. I am from a semi small town. I say semi because, my town is not really small, but there is also not a lot of opportunity here. In my town, people generally never get away from here, its like a trap. Mostly everyone is the same, they don’t further their education, etc. I have always felt different from everyone here because all ive ever wanted to do was get out and experience the world. I always wished there was some program that offered educational travel for students when I was in school, but there never was. I believe that having a worldly perspective is extremely important in today’s society, especially in light of all of these current worldly events that involve other cultures, other religions, it is almost a necessity to be able to look at events from a worldly perspective and not from a closed minded, limited standpoint.
