Everyone needs insurance.
Posted on August 30th, 2007 @ 5:28 pm

I dont have insurance. And, ive learned firsthand that when it comes to health care..health insurance and life insurance - life insurance is a valuable thing to have for yourself, and even moreso if you have a family. Another type of insurance that every HOME OWNER needs is, of course, home insurance. I know my cousin bought a house a little while ago and she said she wouldnt even buy it if she didnt have home insurance. I guess all types of insurance are really a necessity. I do realize that sometimes it is hard for people coming from low income situations, but really..you cant really spend your money on anything better.
Speaking of insurance…I just got full coverage car insurance for my car!! Im super excited. Before, I just had liability..now..full coverage baby!

If you dont have car insurance..shame on you! Its one less thing you have to worry about if you get pulled over..they always ask for that insurance card!!

Doctor Visit.
Posted on August 30th, 2007 @ 5:17 pm

So, im back from the doctor. It wasnt as bad as I thought it was going to be, to be honest. Well, I guess I should say that the visit in itself wasnt bad, but the wait kinda sucked.

By sucked..I mean we were there for four hours. Yep. Four whole hours.

Anyway, they did ok with my prescriptions and even prescribed me some new kind of medication. They said they wanted to check my thyroid because of the panic and anxiety issues along WITH an elevated heart rate..that and hyperthyroidism is hereditary in my family. So, they drew blood and now im imagining that I have pain in that arm and im feeling like im gonna pass out.

Great.

Travel and Learn
Posted on August 29th, 2007 @ 7:13 am

I have always wanted to travel. My only main goal in life is to travel around the world and experience people, experience things, experience cultures. I am from a semi small town. I say semi because, my town is not really small, but there is also not a lot of opportunity here. In my town, people generally never get away from here, its like a trap. Mostly everyone is the same, they don’t further their education, etc. I have always felt different from everyone here because all ive ever wanted to do was get out and experience the world. I always wished there was some program that offered educational travel for students when I was in school, but there never was. I believe that having a worldly perspective is extremely important in today’s society, especially in light of all of these current worldly events that involve other cultures, other religions, it is almost a necessity to be able to look at events from a worldly perspective and not from a closed minded, limited standpoint. HemisphereTravel.com offers some excellent student travel tour packages that I really wish were available when I was a student. I urge parents of students to consider these offers and contemplate the importance of a global education. If you are uncomfortable with your child going abroad, they also offer US student travel tour packages too. Think about it.

That “Blah” Feeling.
Posted on August 29th, 2007 @ 7:03 am

Im not really sure whats going on with me tonight. Ive just got this overall “blah” feeling and im not sure why. Its not exactly..depressed..its just…uncomfortable complacency I guess you could say, if that makes any sense? Sometimes I feel like I am tired of the monotony of life and I want a change but I know that realistically, that change isnt going to happen and that makes me very uncomfortable, kind of sad. Not exactly depressed..just kind of…blah.

This happens to me from time to time and it usually goes away within a day or so, its relatively short lived because I think that at this point I have accepted my position in life, even if I am not 100 percent happy with it.
Theres really nothing I would change at this point, I dont know. Its weird.

Please dont take my sunshine away..

Anxiety and depression has always been a battle for me. It started when I was about 13 and im not really sure why it started happening…I still cant figure out the source of it. It could have been a lot of reasons, maybe I needed to try building teen self confidence or something. I hated it, and to be really honest I still battle with anxiety to this day. Over at kickoutstress.com they have a new program developed just for teens to help them build self confidence and attack issues of stress and depression for teens. Im not a teen anymore, but I wish something like this was available for me when I was a teen. As far as I know, there were no teen stress relief programs and I think its so important to acknowledge that teen stress IS a problem, and it IS extremely stressful to be a teenager in todays world with so many excessive social pressures put upon them by society. If you have a teen who seems to be suffering from stress, depression, eating disorders or drug and alcohol abuse or you ARE a teen suffering from these problems..please go check out kickoutstress.com. Its so important that you tackle this now before it becomes an adult problem.

..More about dreams..
Posted on August 28th, 2007 @ 7:31 pm

I had some more weird dreams tonight..I cant remember them either. I hope its not getting to where I cant ever remember my dreams..I had always prided myself on being able to remember them. I did get to see a cool episode of Martin Mystery about “The Sandman” does anyone remember ever being told anything about The Sandman? I do. The Sandman is supposed to be happy, joyful, etc. The episode I saw of Martin Mystery made him seem really scary and I think that episode made me have bad dreams or something.

Im really getting into old time music.

Gamer revolution
Posted on August 27th, 2007 @ 7:31 pm

My boyfriend buys TONS of video games. Half of them he doesnt even play..so of course..we end up going right over to the gaming store and exchanging them or selling them back. Luckily, I think this is a familiar story to most people who play video games or live with someone who plays a lot of video games. You can cut the costs in half by simply starting to buy used video games. So, I found this site called PlayerChain.com and its a pretty cool new way for gamers to trade games with each other. Its a new kind of method…first ive ever seen like it. You dont have to trade on a game for game basis and you definitely dont have to deal with money loss by trying to sell the game back or getting store credit, blah!
Membership is free and I suggest you bring it on over to PlayerChain.com and find out everything about this system because if you play games…and are a frequent gamer..then this is something you will really appreciate.

A night of dreams
Posted on August 27th, 2007 @ 7:23 pm

I had like 30 million weird dreams last night. It could be because two of Sodas friends came over to rap, lmfao. Rap and record it. I swear Soda and Abe came inand out of the house like 18 times last night and each time I had some crazy dream.  One of them had something to do with a bunch of crack heads robbing the house, another had to do with us having tons of cats and all of them getting out. Each of them was filled with dread. You know how emotions are always times 10 in your dreams…these were pretty bad. I woke up each time thinking…”omg im gonna remember this one!” but…I didnt :(

I gotta get a dream journal.

Cosmetic Surgery Advice.
Posted on August 25th, 2007 @ 9:40 pm

Unfortunately, I know quite a few people who entertain the idea of getting plastic (cosmetic) surgery. I am not a fan of this type of surgery, because I think its superficial..however..if it will truly make one feel better about themselves, then I guess I cant be that against it because I believe we should do things in life that make us happy. So, if someone is that unhappy with the way they look..then by all means..correct it!

If youre thinking about cosmetic surgery then you may want to get some Free Cosmetic Surgery Advice first. Luckily http://mya.co.uk offers free advice from cosmetic surgeons in the UK. If you REALLY want plastic surgery..then you need to get some advice from experts first.

Parties suck.
Posted on August 25th, 2007 @ 9:37 pm

Last night I went to my first party. My cousin Kelley came with me. I think it was her first “house party” too. Well, anyways. IT SUCKED. We almost got into a fight. Why is it that we cant go anywhere without getting into some kind of fight? First, it was The 5 Spot..now this. Do we just attract trouble? Specifically..does KELLEY attract trouble? Lmfao. If she does, its certainly weird because youd think it would be me whod be attracting all the trouble. My boyfriend kept me from having to throw down on some ho last night..unfortunately. I was kind of itching for a fight..I guess I kinda wanted it to happen….but him making us leave was probably for the better.

Remind me not to go to any house parties ever again because they suck. Drunk people suck..drunk girls suck.
