Thinking about..
Posted on July 25th, 2007 @ 6:16 am

Ok..ive been thinking about getting a new tattoo lately. Ive already got two and ill admit one of them means nothing to me and was a huge mistake. However..one of them has a huge spiritual significance to me and I believe, overall, that tattoos should always be of a spiritual significance and should only be gotten for spiritual reasons.

Think about it..it is a personal scarification process that will permanently be with you forever and ever. Its almost like a mark on the soul, if you will.
I got to thinking about tattoos the other day when I saw an episode of “No Reservations” where the host of the show traveled to Malaysia and got a traditional Iban (headhunting Malaysian tribe..ancient tribe..) tattoo on his shoulder, tattooed by a member of the Iban tribe. He didnt get the tattoo traditional STYLE, though, which sort of made me sad. The guy tattooed him with the tat gun or whatever and the traditional Iban style is with a needle, bamboo, and a hammer..but whatever..heh.
Anyhow..it got me into thinking about tribal tattoos and how spiritually significant they were, and are, within ancient tribes and the remnants of those tribes. The art of tribal tattooing is really a lost art and eventually in my life id like to get a traditional style tattoo, no tattoo gun and all that.

Lots of people get spiritual tattoos, cross tattoos, Buddhist and Hindu tattoos, etc. Another really popular spiritually significant tattoo are the Native American style tattoos and I kinda wanna get something along those lines but my idea is a bit different..im not gonna get the typical feathers, dreamcatcher, yadda yadda. But im not unveiling my ideas because I dont want anyone to steal them hehehehe.

Anyways..ive seriously been contemplating getting a new tattoo..well, technically two of them..its gonna be a while because tattoos should be very very well thought out ..what do you guys think?

NOOOO Not Again!
Posted on July 20th, 2007 @ 1:37 pm

Looks like I cant sleep again.
I ended up watching Tammy Faye on Larry King.
It was, disheartening and disturbing to say the least. Its just…I dunno. Inoperable Cancer? What makes cancer inoperable? I couldnt imagine. You couldnt get chemo for it, youd just be in pain all the time and having to take tons of pain medicine. I just could not imagine. Its very scary for me to try and think about. Cancer is, horrible.  I think im gonna try to read about it on wikipedia because I really dont know too much about Cancer, even though it runs in my family.

Well..onto a lighter note..
I work today. I think im gonna take my boyfriend out to a nice lunch at the Indian buffet….if theyre open. Last time I went they were under construction and even had a new name!!!! Well..well see.

Two day Headache.
Posted on July 20th, 2007 @ 6:33 am

Again with the cluster headaches!

My cat has been horrible today. Hes been running around all day tearing up whatevers in his path at full force. Hes like a Viking Berserker.

I went swimming the other day, it was a lot of fun. I was worried about my hair and stuff but it seemed to do ok. Ive been letting it to whatever it wants to do and theyve stayed together pretty well.

Tonight Tammy Faye Messner is going to be on Larry King Live…cant wait to see it! Im not a Christian, but ive been a huge fan of hers and seeing her all frail and stuff is..really strange.

Ive come across a virtual internet goldmine. I dunno if you guys buy things online very often, but I do. I find buying online filled with unlimited possibilities on what I could find. Anyhow, KeepCash is a website dedicated to “keeping money in your pocket” and its filled with the best net deals possible. Go take a look, ive already found a couple that I am interested in.
I found an awesome deal on a bluetooth headset for 17 bucks that would go perfectly with my new blackberry. I also found a kickbutt Rocketfish Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse!I mean this site has it all, if youre into great deals on software for your computer..theyve got it. I also just noticed that theyve got a great section of coupons and deals from The History channel…my favourite TV channel! There are History Channel Coupons available too!. Theyve got pretty much anything you could think of, from vitamins, to cool cell accessories, to computer software, etc…there are tons of stores to choose from. As we speak I just found an awesome laptop webcam from microsoft for 63 dollars from buy.com. If you buy online without coupon codes..then GO TO KEEPCASH.COM and you will change your habit immediately.

Safe and Happy Tanning!
Posted on July 10th, 2007 @ 12:55 pm

This is the time of year for tanning…all you guys need to make sure you remain safe though…the sun can be dangerous!!

To tan safely without burning follow these steps:

1. Start with 10 or 15 minutes of exposure to the sun or a tanning lamp, and gradually increase the time as your body becomes more tanned.

2. Start with a sunscreen with an SPF factor of under 15, but no less than 8.

3. Keep skin moisturized with after-sun lotion - preferably with aloe - to make your tan last.

4. If you notice your starting to burn put on a hat, cover up, or go inside!

5. Some medications (especially acne medications) lower your resistance to sun.

6. If you are light-skinned/fair, you are more prone to sunburn than people with darker complexions take extra precautions

so be safe guys!
