Earlier tonight I was just surfing the net looking for some cool new electric scooters to replace my boyfriend and I’s two old ones that we ran into the ground. Well, I ended up finding this one and im realllyy considering placing a bid. I love the blue color of the scooter, the headlight and the best part is the cargo area on the back. My old scooter didnt have that at all. I would tear up the streets with that scooter hahah! Not to mention the cool site I found it on, its like the lowest bid wins. The lowest unique bid. I signed up for an account for the site and everything is telling me to BID BID BID on this scooter. You bid in cents and you can even bid FROM YOUR PHONE. How cool is that? Lol. I can already see a new addiction forming.
The object of Bid4prizes is so neat..see..the lowest unique bid starts out at one cent but if more than one person bids one cent, then one cent is no longer the lowest unique bid and then two cents becomes the lowest unique bid, and so on and so forth. The winning bid could be as small as three cents or as big as a couple hundred bucks..but the lowest UNIQUE bid whens. Kind of a breath of fresh air when it comes to the online auction scene.
So..here goes nothing..im entering my bid for the scooter as we speak!

Hey everyone!

Just a quick update from me. I know I changed around the site a little bit, because its easier for me to maintain, at first I decided that I wasnt going to write any updates on myself, but ive sort of changed my mind. While, not that much goes on in my life, at least a LITTLE goes on.

Nick News is on right now, and its such a positive episode about children who are taking it upon themselves to be very revolutionary and stand up for what they believe, in this particular instance, about the war in Iraq, and theyve profiled one girl who owns the site www.peacetakescourage.com and specifically this page http://www.peacetakescourage.com/wwjd.html

I think everyone should go take a look.

Ever since I can remember I have had a keen interest in a wide range of subjects. The Paranormal, conspiracy theories, cryptozoology and alternative history.
After watching a program on TV about the Kingdom of Atlantis I began to scour the internet for information regarding this ancient city that many people believe didnt even exist!
After reading for a couple of hours I just began to run across the same rehashed information that repeated the same thing over, and over, and over again.
Right when I decided to stop looking I found a really interesting site that offered a whole new sort of theory.
The site www.atlantiskingdom.com purposes that Atlantis Was a Real Place, the Americas. Ive never heard of the theory that Atlantis may have actually been the Americas, until now! And, let me tell you, this site has some pretty shocking evidence that back up their theory. This is a total must read for anyone who is interested in Alternative History or Atlantis itself.

Here is the press release that was given:

Press Release:

Atlantis Was a Real Place, the Americas

The kingdom of Atlantis included North, South, and Central America. It was divided into ten countries or kingdoms and each country had its own King. One of the kingdoms was also called Atlantis. The King of Atlantis was the ruler over the other nine Kingdoms. The first ruler of the Kingdom was called Atlas. This is how Atlantis got its name.

The royal city of the kingdom was located within the country of Atlantis. Within the royal city there was a royal palace. Originally, three different moats surrounded the royal palace. Plato referred to the moat formation as three zones of water and two zones of land.

As time went by they covered over the moats and cut three canals through the peninsula on which the royal palace was located. The construction of the canals divided the peninsula and formed two triangular shaped islands. The island that held the royal palace was called Atlantis. That is why Atlantis is referred to as a continent, and city, and an island.

Read the short version of Plato’s story at www.atlantiskingdom.com to learn more about Atlantis and the Americas. Then read Plato’s Timaeus and Critias to get the complete story.

I have matched the terrain features that Plato wrote about with present terrain features found in the Tampa Bay area. Research shows that Plato described Harbour Island as the small island of Atlantis. You will find that Plato recorded and published the story just as it was told. He even recorded the discussions leading up to the story. You will also notice several obvious mistakes made in translating the story from Egyptian to Greek and from Greek to English. The biggest mistake occurred when travelers came upon a shoal of mud and thought it was left over from the sunken island. They were wrong. The continent of Atlantis did not sink.

You are invited to review the facts to see for yourself that the Americas, from South America to Alaska were once the kingdom of Atlantis, a single nation. The land formation is still laid out the same as it was over 11,000 years ago. It is best viewed from the air. See image.

One thing I hate, is to have to make an emergency reformat of my computer and lost everything. My pictures, videos, documents, everything..gone. Because I was too lazy and didnt take the time to back my hard drive contents onto disks. Ive found a pretty cool alternative to that, which I think will help out other forgetfuls like me. Online Backup is an awesome site that offers UNLIMITED STORAGE BACKUP for 5 bucks a month! Can you believe that? Thats less than what youd pay for a package of disks to back your system up on!

But what beats all is that they offer 2GB of store..FREE. Totally free. I signed up for the free service about a month ago, but decided to just go all the way and I couldnt be happier, now I dont have to sit through the arduous task of burning everything onto CDs. UGH!

Look into this, especially if youve got pictures or music or programs that you just dont want to lose in the case of an emergency reformat.

Don’t Like Your Fine? Threaten to Kill the Judge. PDF Print E-mail
David Hughes doesn’t like to pay fines. Or so one might assume, given his recent behavior.

In January, Hughes was convicted of disorderly conduct and ordered to pay a $281.50 fine. He paid $10 of it, and apparently thought that was enough. Beaver County, Pennsylvania District Judge Joseph L. Schafer issued an arrest warrant for Hughes, summoning him to the courthouse to explain why he hadn’t paid the rest of the fine. Mr. Hughes offered to retrieve a gun from his van and shoot everyone in the office, then dashed out of the courthouse, jumped in his van, and drove away.
The police caught up with him quickly enough, and he pulled over. But rather than surrendering, he threw the van into reverse and backed into a police cruiser before taking off again. A second police car managed to pull him over a few blocks away, but he backed into that one, too. Finally, he turned onto a dead-end street and abandoned the van. The police chased him down on foot and took him into custody. At the police station, with one hand shackled, Hughes further endeared himself to law enforcement by punching an officer in the mouth with his free hand and trying to take the officer’s pistol.

At some point during the chase, Hughes also flipped his middle finger at the pursuing officers. “He could have been killed,” said Police Chief Barry Kramer. “He can thank his lucky stars it wasn’t something shiny,” that he waved at the cops.

Hughes has been charged with four counts of making terroristic threats, two counts of aggravated assault on police officers, and one count each of reckless endangerment, fleeing and eluding police, disarming a law enforcement officer, and careless driving.

And he still owes the county $271.50.

Ive been looking around the internet for DAYS at digital cameras but I havent really been able to find a lot of cool information on them..but, I found this site that I personally think is a really good choice for people looking to buy electronics, personally I am looking to purchase a good digital camera. The site is called Test Freaks and they are a site that compiles TONS of goodies for consumers like me out there. There are performances reviews, forums, news, blogs, all kinda neat stuff. I was just checking out this page about a digital camera im thinking about buying and now, thanks to test freaks, I know that I will be spending my money wisely. Theyve also got reviews for cellphones, camcorders, mp3 players, and plasma tvs (check this out plasma tv reviews). This site is definitely worth a look. Reading the reviews of products before you buy them is extremely important and I have learned that the hard way.

Soon to come on test freaks..COMPUTERS too!! Ohh boy will I have a hayday with this when I decide to get my new laptop…wahahahaah
