Take advantage of your lifeFebruary 21st, 2007 @ 9:26 am
Last night, I totally had an ephiphany.
Soda and I went over to one of his friends houses to just chill and smoke some bud. I had eaten about..one whole 20 peice mcngget and drank maybe..two pepsis and I was STUFFED!! So, yeah, I was feeling niiicee and relaxed. So, Soda and I went over to his friend Scarys house and it was full of cool poker playing guys. There were a couple girls there all huddled together in typical girly fashion..so I just went and sat in the living room with Soda and his friend Scary. Soda worked with Scary for like two years and Scary was on some anti depressants and various different medications to help his depression for like three years of his life. As he put it..he felt a lot better after taking them and one day he even donated a bunch of money to hurricane katrina survivors. Scary started talking about how you have to only live your life for yourself. Deal with everyone in a cool, respectful manner, dont act like youre above anyone and just deal with everyone as if they were your friend. He said doing that lets you take advantage of your life and your surroundings.
I hate to sound like a hippie, but everyday I am more convinced that I am just a tree hugging hippie at heart. But truly, Love and Peace are the only ways to go!!!!

You don’t sound like a hippie. It’s common sense, atleast to me. If you treat someone nice, then that person will most likely be nice back. Sometimes we tend to forget that, and it makes life harder. People does indeed want to get through life as content and easy as possible, but that’s not always possible. Sometimes we have to do things we don’t like or find difficult, and sometimes we have to do things which are fun and easy. That’s life. And there’s a saying, dunno where it comes from but: “Treat people in a way you want to be treated”. Or something like that, atleast I know that Swedish version
But that saying is so true.
Oh, and Soda did the right thing by listening to Scary about those cigarettes

Those white words are so bold and bright.
It’s weird.
I feel a little enlightened just reading that.

That’s funny. At work the bold words aren’t white at all.
